How to Extend a line in ETABS?

Many a
times we need to extend beams to the perpendicular beams some distance away. In
ETABS, we have to follow a procedure to do the same. Following are the steps
you need to do in order to extend a line.

1. Select the line and the end point of
   the side you want to extend along with the line up to which you want to extend.
     
   
2.  Go to Edit → Align
   points/lines/edges →extend line object → OK.  Line is extended.
